*Cough* *Sniffle* *Cough*

In the wise words of Rosanne Rosanna Danna (for those of you who are old enough to remember when SNL was funny), "If it's not one thing, it's another." I'm still here and I'm still fighting this battle but it has been one step forward and two steps back.

I've had a miserable cough/cold for almost 4 weeks now and I just can't shake it. I hardly ever get sick *knock wood* but when I do I try to work through it and go about my day like I usually do and now I'm exhausted. I've been drinking shots of a NyQuil cocktail before bed every night and that certainly helps but the DayQuil keeps me in a fog which probably isn't a bad thing considering the atmosphere at my office lately. I've talked to a few people who have had this bug and they're all telling me it is 5-6 weeks before they felt better. I don't think I can get through another 2-3 weeks of this feeling like I've been run over by a truck.

It must be Spring Fever.

  1. Oh man, I hope you feel better sooner than that! Still glad to see you here.

I had a nagging cough that lased over 2 weeks. There were times I thought I'd lose some internal organs. Do you have allergies? I know those have been bad for some people (I'm lucky--I get to have fun in September for ragweed season!)

Take care of yourself and hopefully it'll work through your system.

(just read your message yesterday-I'll reply again soon :)

  2. Okay, how did I not see the link to your pictures before?

They are beautiful (even the ones of the fire). So bright and vivid.

I love ALL the fall shots and had to laugh when I saw the one of those pesky Canadian geese!

Hope you get to do some spring shots when you're up to it.

  4. Manuela: Thanks for the well wishes. Yes, I have pretty bad allergies (mine are worse in the fall too) but this is definitely a cold/cough/flu bug. Glad you saw my pics. I love photography and make some $ doing it but not a steady paycheck unfortunately. I'll get some spring shots soon. :)

Hilly: Thanks! Yeah, I feel like I got bit by the SUPER BUG!

Glad to see you back writing. Sorry I haven't commented in a while but Big Brother is watching at work so I can't comment from there and when I get home I've been going right to bed.

I hope I get rid of this bug soon so I can get back to business.
