The Biggest Loser Cry

Am I the only one that cries like a baby during every single episode of The Biggest Loser. I used to think it was because I was so stressed out at work and my emotions were always so raw on the surface but I'm not dealing with that stress anymore and I'm still balling my eyes out every Tuesday night.

I still have a love/hate relationship with The Biggest Loser but look forward to watching it every week.

It may take me longer than the tv season but I know I will be a BIG loser too.

Am I the only one who needs to stock up on tissues before watching The Biggest Loser?

  2. Hi. I've never seen TBL as I'm in the UK. But I've noticed that these days I do cry in response to things on the TV. I think I'm just softening in my old age ...

  4. I don't need the tissues every week but I do feel those emotions stir every week. I have a love hate relationship with it too....But I feel the emotions because you can just see the changes and the joy they are feeling and I think most of us LONG for that....

  5. I have a hate/hate relationship with the BL, lol.

My friend Pam conned me into watching last season with her...it was my one and ONLY season, lol. Oh good Lord I get so wrapped up in their life stories. Abby killed me right from the beginning when I found out she lost her husband and 2 children in a car wreck...I just couldn't figure out how she was still alive and hadn't died from pure grief and heartache. Then I got attached to Shay and her mom being a drug addict and how she couldn't save her mom or make her love her and being in the closet while drug deals were going on. Good Grief!!!! I watched it all the way to the end because I got so friggin' attached, and when it was over I said NEVER AGAIN!!!! I've got my own drama without investing in the drama of perfect strangers!!! lol

  6. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :) Love your sidebar about the fat making you fat.

I cried watching BL too. I just started watching it a couple of episodes ago and now feel the need to see all of the past seasons.

  8. I cried like a baby at this weeks show. Seems like I have been crying for the past couple of episodes. Maybe TBL should do a product placement ad for some tissue, lol.

I too have a love/hate relationship with the show. I hate the product ads, the constant re-caps, and this season I hate how unfair some of the challenges have been. Take for example this week when Sam helped Koli but Daris was all by himself on the challenge. I do not think they should be allowing the contestants to help each other out. That really pissed me off.

But in the end I LOVE the show. I have watched every season and last season and this current season is what has inspired me to finally get up off my ass. I just love Ashley, probably because she reminds me of me and last season I loved Rebekkah.

I know what you mean about wondering if the show is healthy but from what my Dr explained to me it is healthy if you are under the supervision of a Dr. You would not want to go out and workout like they do and eat so few calories if you are not getting monitored on a regular basis.

Plus you do have to "get it" or the weight will come back. That is why some of the contestants in the past have put the weight back on. Until you really truly get it and change your lifestyle forever, you will always gain the weight back.

Once you do get it, then it really does get easier. Eating healthy and exercise is now just coming natural to me and I am wondering why I did not do this along time ago. But I never got it until this time around. There is no magic cure, it is simple, calories in and calories burned. No quick fix, just work and changing your lifestyle.

    Goodluck to you!

  10. Heather: Glad I'm not the only one.

Bear Friend: I've always been a softy. I thought it would get better as I got older and stronger but it doesn't look like I'll ever grow that thick skin.

Certifiably Fit: I wonder how many calories crying burns?

Jules: You're right - I long to get to the point where I feel strong and capable of getting this fat off forever.

Tammy: Oh, Abby made me ball my eyes out every week. I probably don't need any more drama in my life either but I do get inspired by their stories and can't give it up. I'm addicted. I'm glad Shay got that Subway deal and can't wait to see how far she's come at the finale this year.

Siobhan: I've watched every single season and some have been better than others. There was one season with Hebba and ??? that was so cut throat it was really hard to watch. I'd skip that one.

Diane: TBL inspires me almost as much as you do. ;)

Lisa: I'm glad TBL has inspired you to start your journey. I really liked Rebekkah but wasn't a big fan of her blonde hair makeover. I thought I "got it" a few times in the past but it didn't stick. I'm going to make sure it sticks this time.

Hilly: You'd definitely need the waterproof mascara to watch ;). This season is a little better than some of the past ones since there isn't a ton of game play and they actually support each other.

  12. Hahaha... No dry eyes here either.. but then again we all do have an emotional attachment to what is said in the show. Most of the comments there touched me because I can relate to them. I still love the show a lot.
